PROGRAM OUTLINE:

  • Fire Departments need at least 2 hoods per member to enter the program.
  • Hoods will be barcoded with the department’s name, firefighter’s name and serial number of the hood.
  • Each hood is thoroughly washed with our proprietary Fire Soaps™ detergents and sanitized using our EPA Registered Hospital Grade Fabric Sanitizer which kills 99.99% of germs and bacteria in the rinse cycle.
  • Each hood is inspected and individually packaged.
  • FREE RETURN SHIPPING.

 

MEMBER BENEFITS:

  • Members receive a clean and sanitized hood as needed.
  • Protection of their health and reduction in the risk of cancer.

DEPARTMENT BENEFITS:

  • Each department that joins “Project Clean Hoods” is eligible to receive a 10% discount on all of their bunker gear cleaning and inspection.
  • You are able to service your department’s contaminated hoods on an as needed basis, which ensures that everyone has a clean hood. (more frequent programs are available)
  • Special incident service available.
  • Customized reports for department’s NFPA 1851 compliance requirements

COST TO ENTER THE PROGRAM:

  • $4.95 per hood, which covers the initial cleaning, sanitizing, inspection and barcode with the name of the department and member. All of the data is entered into our database for tracking.

MONTHLY MAINTENANCE:

  • $2.95 per hood. No minimums or return limits. Contact us for volume discounts.
